2017 Buon Anno

I’ve finally recovered from the great big Italian family New Years dinner. I honestly think I ate my entire 2017 intake of food in one sitting! Now it’s back to reality (and work 😱).
Well, I didn’t quite manage to move to Italy this year. But I got pretty close. I was lucky enough to spend a good chunk of the year working over here, plus holidays, I calculated I spent 144 days in 2016 in Italy. Around a third of my year, not bad going! So the struggle continues, to find myself a permanent place here.

In the meantime, I’m celebrating the new year with the launch of a TwitterInstagram and Facebook Page for this blog. Please follow as many as you can 🙂

The 2017 New Years resolutions are as follows:

  1. Blog more regularly!
  2. Write that novel I’ve always dreamed about
  3. Learn more delicious Italian recipes
  4. Improve my Italian (a must)
  5. Read more
  6. And finally, obviously, live in Italy forever ❤️

My 2017 Italian travel wish list includes:

  • Pompeii
  • Sicily
  • Genova
  • Florence

How about you? What are your New Years resolutions and travel wish lists for 2017?

Wishing you all the best for a fabulous year.
